It will only work if you have a GPU from Nvidia with GeForce Experience drivers installed.

I just found this project on GitHub. It's a tool based on the old XSpotify project and allows you to download any song from Spotify. I'm not quite sure if you actually need a subscription to listen to songs as I'm too lazy to sign off but I guess it even works with the free client. All you need is the spotify application, Visual Studio and a random DLL injector. Just inject the DLL you compiled into Spotify and its GUI will pop up.
