Who am I?
My name is Riva, and I specialize in helping individuals transition their careers from academia to industry. I got my PhD in Biomedical Sciences and went on to do a post-doc during which I became Chair of the STEM Postdoc association for UC Santa Cruz. In this role I put on many workshops and trainings to teach STEM grad students and post-docs how to get a job in Industry. I successfully made my own career transition to Regulatory Affairs in Industry about 4 years ago and have since helped hundreds and hundreds more post-docs, grad students, & undergrads to successfully navigate their own career transitions to industry. With the wealth of knowledge I've accumulated, I decided to make this course in hopes to make what I have to share more accessible to academics everywhere.
This class can help anyone in the following categories who are trying to enter industry:
STEM PhDs
STEM Post-docs
Individuals with professional degrees (MD, PharmD, etc)
STEM Graduate students
STEM Master's students
STEM Undergraduates
