Learn to both lead and follow in this amazing social dance class for the Cha-Cha! This course will teach you the fundamentals of Cha-Cha and provide you with several steps that you can use in your own dancing. By the end of the course, you'll be able to confidently dance as either the lead or the follow.
Steps you will learn in this course
Basic Step
Crossover Breaks with Walk-Around Turn
Butterfly
Chase
Parallel Breaks
Cross-Body Lead
Sweetheart
Once you have learned all of these steps, you can confidently lead or follow with a partner - or dance it on your own! All ages and levels are welcome to take this course.
Project Guide
For a class project, you will be demonstrating the skills you have learned in the class. Upload yourself dancing to a Cha-Cha song for at least 30 seconds. You may demonstrate either the lead or follow position, or both! With or without a dance partner is acceptable. Get creative and let your dancing spirit show through!
