This course will teach you how to paint vibrant and fun oil portrait in a fast, easy and organised way. It is accessible for everyone, whether you have a large studio or just a tiny table. It is focused on basic oil techniques.You will learn:What supplies do you need (cheaper options also available)A thing or two about colourHow to approach oil painting with help of valuesHow to mix colour for your portraitHow to paint in layers according to a referenceWhat to do after you finish painting (varnish, drying time etc)I wanted to make sure that no one is scared of oil painting as it can be intimidating because there is a lot of misconceptions about drying time, toxicity, accessibility etc. I really would like to show that you can approach oil painting with fun and don't have to be scared of passing out in your room.A basic knowledge of portrait fundamentals are welcome here, as this class is not focusing on the actual head construction, but mainly on painting.
