Description
Know Read Understand Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams P & IDs is a pipeline and instrumentation training course published by Yodemi Academy. Pipeline and instrumentation diagram is a standard and highly detailed map that is most used in process industries and shows pipelines and the location of control and executive equipment with different symbols. These maps contain very valuable information such as process control, security systems, alerts and interlocks. These charts are used in various industries such as gas and oil, chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries and are used by engineers and research and development teams. The user of these diagrams is not limited to the design and drawing stages, but is also used in the stages of construction, initial installation and commissioning of equipment, operations and maintenance of parts.These maps contain very detailed information about safety systems and methods of dealing with emergencies and hazards. In general, P&ID maps consist of four sections: product line, symbols, process control schemes, and tool safety functions. The main purpose of these plans is to manage the risk of the production process and to determine the scenario for emergency and dangerous situations in the production lines. The symbols in these maps are displayed in three categories: electrical, mechanical and hydraulic, and each of these categories has unique features. In addition to educational videos, a series of maps and text files will be provided to students, which can acquaint them with the processes of drawing and mapping in a completely practical way.
