This course will teach those who are new to Upwork or who are interested in joining Upwork how to stand out among a sea of freelancers and embark on a successful freelancing career. It will cover the steps that I took to go from a newbie on the site to being a Top Rated, Expert Vetted freelancer with over $200k+ in Upwork income alone over a two year period. I accomplished this by taking strategic steps during the various phases of my Upwork journey which allowed me to stand out from my peers and rise through the Upwork "ranks" quickly. Topics include profile setup, proposal and interview tips, delivering a good client experience, and how to move up the Upwork ladder once the first few jobs are under your belt.The course is best suited for those who have an idea of what types of positions or projects they would like to offer as a freelancer, but are overwhelmed when seeing the sheer number of freelancers on the site and seek additional guidance in how to stand out. It does not give guidance on how to perform specific job related tasks, but rather how to navigate Upwork and stand out to clients.
