Learn Spread Voicings On The Guitar

About This Class
For our final project we're going to pick some chords and put them into a chord progression. These can be chords we've done in the class, or chords you've created on your own.
Description
It seems that everybody these days can play standard guitar chords. So how do you stand out from the crowd with your own unique sound? Spread voicings are a powerful way to play chord progressions on your instrument, and can make any standard chord sound open and comfortable for your listeners.
In this course we'll be covering major and minor spread voicing shapes, along with what spread voicings are, how they fit into a key for practical use, and some practice through progressions.
Project Guide
For our final project we're going to pick some chords and put them into a chord progression. These can be chords we've done in the class, or chords you've created on your own.
Once we have our progression, we're going to play through it with the spread voicing shapes we learned throughout this course! It is up to you if you'd like to do all 6th string shapes, all 5th string shapes, or a blend of the two.
You can upload your projects as a video or audio file. If you don't have a way to record yourself, you can also submit a text post telling us the chords you chose and how they went! Let us know what you found difficult or easy.
I can't wait to see your projects!
